At the heart of this 46mm steel IWC Pilot’s World Timer Edition Le Petit Prince, and sitting underneath a hypnotising blue dial, the Calibre 82760 powers on relentlessly, driving the luminous coated hands around the dial and delivering a very practical running time of 60 hours off the wrist. This striking blue coloured dial is a signature hallmark of all IWC watches from the Le Petit Prince series, paying homage to aviator Antoine de Saint Exupery and his literary work. The 284 components that make up the faultless self winding engine, including its Pellaton winding system and rotor with 18ct gold medallion, are all hand assembled at the prestigious watchmaker’s ateliers. The limited edition IWC Pilot’s Watch also features a convex sapphire crystal glass front, as well as see through caseback that puts the Calibre 82760 on show. A date window also resides at 3 o’clock, just below the Timezoner reference in red.
